Ever wondered what you'd look like in your favorite anime? Xloux brings that dream to life! As the platform that turns your photos and text descriptions into custom anime artwork, cel shading, chibi, pixel art, watercolor, retro manga pieces, custom stickers and shareable content, we know how personal your uploaded photos, creative prompts and generated artworks are.

This privacy policy outlines exactly how we handle every piece of data you share with us, to make sure you feel safe and in control every time you use our personal anime studio. By using Xloux, you agree to the terms laid out in this policy.

Information We Collect

User-Uploaded Visual Content: Any photos, reference images or selfies you upload to generate anime art. We only collect these files to complete your requested generation task, no extra hidden usage by default.
Text Prompts & Creative Inputs: All written descriptions you provide to generate custom anime artwork when you don't want to upload a photo, including style preferences, character details and background requests.
User Library Data: The generated artworks you save to your favorites, custom stickers you create, style presets you save, and share history of your anime alter-egos. This data is only used to sync your personal library across your devices.
Anonymous Usage Metrics: Non-identifiable data such as how often you use each art style, generation success rates, and feature usage frequency. This data is never linked to your personal identity and only used to improve our product performance.
Contact Information (Optional): If you choose to register an account or contact our support team, we may collect your email address only to send you account-related notifications or respond to your requests.

How We Use Your Data

We will never use your personal data for any purpose outside of the scope explicitly stated below:

Process your generation requests: turn your uploaded photos and text prompts into the anime art style you selected, and render custom stickers from your generated works.
Sync your personal library across all devices you log into, so you can access your saved artworks, custom stickers and style presets anywhere.
Fix product bugs and optimize generation quality: anonymous usage metrics help us identify which styles need quality improvements and reduce generation failure rates.
AI model training: WE WILL NEVER USE YOUR UPLOADED PHOTOS, PROMPTS OR GENERATED ARTWORKS TO TRAIN OUR AI MODELS UNLESS YOU EXPLICITLY OPT IN TO CONTRIBUTING ANONYMOUS DATA FOR MODEL IMPROVEMENT. If you choose to opt in, all contributed data will be fully anonymized and stripped of any identifiable markers before being added to training datasets.
Send you important service notifications: such as policy updates, account security alerts, or responses to your support tickets. We will never send you marketing emails unless you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We will never sell, rent or lease your personal data, uploaded photos, prompts or generated artworks to any third parties for commercial purposes. We only share data in the very limited circumstances below:

When you actively choose to share your generated artworks or custom stickers to external social platforms, the content you share will be subject to the privacy policy of that third-party platform, which we have no control over.
When we are required to disclose data by applicable mandatory rules that we cannot lawfully refuse, we will only disclose the minimum amount of data required to fulfill the request.
With trusted service providers that help us operate Xloux, such as cloud storage providers and cloud computing service providers. All of our service providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements, and are only allowed to access the data necessary to perform their services for us, with no right to use the data for any other purpose.

Your Content Rights

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Xloux, and all generated artworks you create using our service. You have the following rights at all times, with no extra fees required:

Right to delete: You can permanently delete any uploaded photo, generated artwork, custom sticker or saved preset from your library and our servers at any time. Once deleted, no copies of the content will remain on our systems.
Right to export: You can export high-resolution, watermark-free copies of all your generated artworks and custom stickers in any available file format at any time.
Right to opt out: You can withdraw your consent to contribute anonymous data for model training at any time. Upon withdrawal, all anonymized data you previously contributed will be permanently deleted from our training datasets within 72 hours.
Right to access: You can request a full report of all personal data we hold associated with your account at any time, delivered to your registered email address within 10 business days.

Data Retention Rules

Uploaded photos used for generation are automatically deleted from our processing servers within 72 hours of your generation task being completed, unless you explicitly choose to save the original photo to your personal cloud library.
Content saved to your personal library (generated artworks, custom stickers, presets, saved original photos) will be retained for as long as your account remains active. If your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, we will send you a notification 30 days before deleting all content associated with your account to free up storage space.
Anonymous usage metrics are retained for a maximum of 12 months before being aggregated and permanently deleted.
Anonymized training data contributed by users who opted in will be retained for a maximum of 3 years, or until the AI model it was used to train is no longer in operation, whichever comes first.
If you delete your account, all personal data and content associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our servers within 14 business days, with no possibility of recovery.

Security Measures

We take multiple layers of security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse:

All content you upload or generate is transmitted via end-to-end encryption, so no third parties can intercept your data during transfer.
All content saved to your personal cloud library is encrypted at rest, with unique encryption keys tied only to your account. No Xloux employees can access your private library content unless you explicitly grant temporary access when submitting a support request.
We regularly update our security protocols and perform penetration testing to identify and fix potential vulnerabilities in our systems.
All employees who may come into contact with user data are required to complete annual privacy and security training, and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Minors Protection

Xloux is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a user under the age of 13, we will immediately delete that user's account and all associated content from our servers without prior notice. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at the email address listed below.

Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service operations or applicable rules. When we make material updates, we will notify you via in-app pop-up and email to your registered address at least 15 days before the updated policy takes effect. Your continued use of Xloux after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you may delete your account and all associated content at any time.
